Start of the cruise season in Wismar

MS Astoria, operated by Cruise & Maritime Voyages (CMV), visited the Hanseatic city on April 14th as the first of 12 cruise ships. Like all other calls of cruise ships, this maiden call was handled by our Sartori & Berger port agents in Rostock.

The port agents arranged the waste disposal, fresh water supply and took care of the permit for the tug release. They ordered two pilots for smooth entering and leaving the port. They still requested the assistance of a tug from Rostock prior to arrival due to the wind forecast, escorting the ship safely into the port of Wismar.
